About Us

We started Kitchen Monkey because we wanted to make life that bit easier for you. Whether your a chef or establishment looking for quality chef prepared by hand meals to serve to your customers, a delicatessen, independant store or farm shop group or a family. We cater for everyone and for every occassion!

Whether your a busy working professional, busy parents, entertaining, looking for convenient meals for a relative or students studying away from home, or you just cannot cook for yourself.  May be your looking for consistant quality restaurant dishes to serve in your establishment, group of shops etc, no matter what your own circumstances, we at kitchenmonkey.co.uk have the solution.

We know first hand how busy everyones lives are. We know ourselves what it is like to be hard working parents, running around looking after the family, caring for relatives, we do this ourselves!. 

So to help you when you need it most, we have put together a extensive range of meals & dishes which are lovingly prepared, just as you would do for your loved ones at home.

This leaves you free, saving you both time, money and wastage so you can do the thing's you really want or need to do. Whether this is attending the gym, playing, socialising, attending a course, reading with the children or simply taking time out just for you: you can do all this and still maintain fresh quality wholesome meals for all the family not matter what the occassion.

By using our dishes you can eat hearty, wholesome, delicious, luxury meals everyday, for everymeal, for every occassion, without having to spend hours over a hot stove or compromise on quality of that homemade meal which you would of prepared in anyway what so ever.

Aims/Beliefs

• All of our dishes ingredients have been carefully sourced locally for quality then  hand made from fresh, that's what makes all of our dishes so special. There are no conveyor belts and mass mixers in our kitchens. We simply cook in small batches from fresh following our chef's superb recipes, just as you would at home.

• We believe in 'Real food', by creating dishes as you or I would prepare & cook at home: Using only quality fresh ingredients like fresh vegetables and British meats, along with your staple kitchen cupboard ingredients.

• We use natural ingredients: Who really knows what Mono- wotsit or Sodium- thingy actually do or how to use them? No genetically modified ingredients, no hydrogenated fats and no further added preservatives or additives. We believe in only using ingredients that you recognise and that we can trace back to their beginnings.

• We believe in giving you, our customers, value for money. Delivering to your doorstep, deli or farmshop  no matter where you are in the UK.
• We believe in convenience: What's the point in having a freezer full of fabulous food if it's time consuming and tricky to prepare? All of our dishes can be cooked straight from frozen and ready to enjoy in minutes. Plus you can decide whether you want to cook in the microwave or oven, which ever you prefer. Just follow our cooking guide upon the label.

A Word From 'Jake' - Being a self confessed foodie and part of a busy working family, my wife and two wonderful daughters were constantly searching for something interesting to eat that did not just fill a void, but also made us happy and made us look forward to our meals.     We also had the greatest problem in that my two girls did not always want to eat what my wife or I were cooking, we wanted grown up meals and they wanted food they liked and knew.

We needed convenience by storing a selection in the freezer and we needed quick cook times so we could eat together and not impose on bed times stories and bath times. We wanted to have restaurant quality food whilst giving our daughters a selection of fine provincial ingredients in their own meals.

For us Kitchen Monkey had to be a lifestyle choice!  For us Kitchen Monkey seemed the ideal solution!

Our team ensures that we have the right meals, made the right way, with the right ingredients.

A Word from 'Jacqui' - Being a very busy working mum & carer, before you know it, a whole day and night has gone. Being brought up in a farming background I have seen how hard it is to work the land and rear the animals. My grandmother taught me to cook and preserve seasonally, and her methods and economics have been passed down to my children, with many a happy memory attached to them.

Our team are dedicated at kitchenmonkey so much so that they care about the meals you buy.  Our team is a family and like my own family, we all enjoy the range of meals and take pride in developing the range of dishes. 

Its hard being a mum or a dad today, there is so much for you to do before you even think about yourself, that is if you ever get around to yourself. So why not leave the cooking to us and enjoy live to the full. I wish  kitchenmonkey had started earlier, as trying to source good quality meals for my grandparents in Norfolk was a nightmare!. Oh, not to mention my children studying away from home and the constant worry about what they were spending their money on I was sending, in the students union, (I know they did that, just as I had done myself, instead of on food.) How great is it to come home put your feet up, even if its just you at home and your meals ready in minutes, no matter what time of day it is!.

Its a lifestyle without compromise that saves waste, time and money. We never ate processed food, I always brought from farmshops, markets and farms and then cooked from fresh at home as I was taught.

Kitchenmonkey has allowed our team to support local producers, keep the food miles down and give you and my family a superb range of quality dishes. We hope you enjoy our dishes and give yourself time to enjoy life, by spending time on the important things in life!
